Gratitude for Brother Lee
Brother Zhaodong Xie
Thank the Lord, he Lord has given dear Brother Daw Jiueng Lee to His church, for the duration of his service at the Church in Yonghe, we’ve received much help from him, he is one that stands for the Lord’s welfare, and in the experience and faith given to him by God, he is a brother that lead the church forward.
The following is thanks for him:
- His burden for the gospel is always burning and encouraging us: He often used Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy spirit comes upon you, and you shall e my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in al Judea and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Thus, he leads us in Yonghe, to go preach the gospel in the towns and villages in Taipei county back then, to testify, to propagate, to plant the church tree, such as Sanxia, Yinge these towns and villages. The gospel coordination at the beginning of the semester of the colleges all over New Taipei city, were all built upon the gospel foundation laid by the brother, going forward, he especially had a sense for the body of the church.
- The pursuit of the Lord’s words and the life-study: The morning revival every morning at the meeting hall, building the enjoyment and understand for the Lord’s word, the life-study lessons every Thursday, were all there supplying the riches of the Lord’s word, and in these meetings, perfecting the young people’s releasing of the word.
- The exercise of the spirit: He uses Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.” Thru pray-reading, help us exercise the calling on the name of the Lord, pray-reading the word of the Lord, living in the spirit to be in union with the Lord.
- Expanding us to have fellowship with the churches in Paraguay: Having a portion on the material offerings for the building of the training center, and the continuation of the supply for the full-timers has been going on. Thank the Lord for giving us the reality of the fellowship of the Body, that we may receive grace together. This leads in Xinji building, the campus in the USA, having fellowship with Vietnam and the churches in New Taipei City. Thank Brother Lee’s service that we may grow in life, be a part of the building of the Body of Christ.
