刘弟兄在中坜召会艰困的耕耘

约在一九六六年刘弟兄来到中坜召会，接续袁启安弟兄的服事，那时候中坜召会就是南桃园的六乡镇，包括中坜、杨梅、平镇、龙潭、新屋、观音，地区辽阔，有三处会所：中坜、忠贞和石门水库（即现在龙潭佳安会所），弟兄姊妹人数不多，多为从大陆来之军人、军眷，他们散居各处，中坜本镇人数很少。
刚好又遇到两年前的两次风波：一为新约教会江端仪的大风暴，把很多弟兄姊妹吹散；一为我们中间四大金刚把石门水库会所占据了，好不容易收回来后，只剩下几人。
外在环境如此艰峻，又因刘弟兄有高血压、糖尿病，需要在饮食上受限制，就引起看会所兼厨房服事弟兄的误会，很不愉快。所以刘弟兄每日三餐，用一个不锈钢杯、电炉自煮自吃。
在这样的艰困中，他仍不屈不挠、殷勤的照顾各处的弟兄姊妹。我在军中甚不自由，也只有在休假时偶尔陪他去看望弟兄姊妹。他虽是那样的孤单，生活、服事又是这样的艰难，但他仍坚毅勤劳的奔波、照顾召会，直到把弟兄姊妹服事到对主有爱心，对真理有认识的地步，也把长老设立起来，他才离开。
