移居花蓮開展主恢復的見證
『他們憑着信心，同心合意跪到主面前，就像使徒行傳中所描述的一樣，將金、 銀、財寶都送到教會，姊妹們把身上戴的戒指、金鍊子摘下來，…一位弟兄將他蒐集了二十多年的幾箱郵票全部送到教會奉獻給主，教會賣了兩萬多元，作為會所購地之用…。有些弟兄還把冬天禦寒的呢子大衣拿去當了，把錢獻給主。』
國富里一位姊妹家中開始聚會
花蓮市召會於民國卅九年春天在國富里一位姊妹家中開始有家庭聚會，當時僅三至四位弟兄姊妹參加，後來人數增加，就借用花蓮師範附小禮堂聚會。
明禮路木造會所
民國四十二年九月花蓮市召會於明禮路三號位置，蓋造木造的教會聚會所，當時土地所有權屬於花蓮縣政府，由教會向縣府租用，但不久，縣府通知要在限期之內購地，逾期地價將調漲二倍，地價是卅六萬八仟元（當時購買一幢普通的住宅約臺幣三萬元），弟兄姊妹常聚會者不到二十位，但他們憑着信心，同心合意跪到主面前，就像使徒行傳中所描述的一樣，並將金、銀、財寶都送到教會。姊妹們把身上戴的戒指、金鍊子摘下來，家裏存放的大頭（銀元）、首飾也都奉獻出來；一位弟兄將他蒐集了二十多年的幾箱郵票全部送到教會奉獻給主，教會賣了兩萬多元，作為會所購地之用；當時有些姊妹一天約花三塊錢買豬肉，為了把錢省下來，也不再買豬肉了；有些弟兄還把冬天禦寒的呢子大衣拿去當了，把錢獻給主。感謝主！主保守他們各個身體強健，平安過冬。這班有信心、可愛的弟兄姊妹們經歷了神的信實，神的確為他們成就了一切，這班弟兄姊妹從一信主進入召會開始，就操練過奉獻與禱告的生活。
帶領全召會過禱告生活
奠定正確召會生活基石
主的同工劉湛庠弟兄，民國四十年首度全家移居花蓮。一到花蓮，就帶領全召會過禱告的生活，劉弟兄教導弟兄姊妹們凡事禱告，凡事要先跟主交通，才能跟弟兄姊妹交通；年長的周劉代萱師母、董張垣元師母回憶起每週的禱告聚會說：『全召會是跪着禱告二小時，舊曆年除夕晚上則是整夜禱告到天明。弟兄姊妹一禱告就先認罪，這樣的禱告生活奠定了正確召會生活的基石，眾人同心，彼此顧惜，互相扶持。』還有劉師母默默殷勤的服事，也使她們得着學習的榜樣；雨天弟兄姊妹來聚會，進門時，劉師母用毛巾給弟兄姊妹擦頭髮、擦腳，颱風過後，到她們家裏幫忙清洗、打掃的情景，對她們而言彷彿仍歷歷在目，每次聚會結束與服事弟兄姊妹們在會所大門口握手互道再見的甜美關切，也讓她們一生難以忘懷。
早期同工滿了信心，豐厚經歷主的同在
早期的同工弟兄們生活完全依靠主，大部分弟兄姊妹因着初信，在供給同工的事上尚缺少認識，全時間的弟兄生活真是清苦，但他們對主卻滿了信心，並豐厚的經歷了主的同在。
