劉弟兄對楊梅召會的扶持
楊梅召會 劉麗川弟兄
在我基督徒所有艱困的歲月中，都是劉弟兄陪我走過的。一九七五年在我退役後有一個屬靈的轉彎，我搬到板橋在他家附近，那時我很消極軟弱，他和劉師母常邀我到他家交通、愛筵，他和劉師母的顧惜餵養，激勵我再起來走路。
一九八八年香港風暴吹到臺灣，最受損失的是楊梅召會，弟兄姊妹搬離散去。前面弟兄交通叫我們另租房子聚會，這也是我最艱困痛苦的日子。 我去板橋與劉弟兄交通，邀他來幫助我們，他就慨然允諾。每主日他都來楊梅扶持我們，那時他剛從工作退下，正在整理一九六〇年前由他速記的李弟兄的資訊。
自九一年春開始，無論風雨日曝，劉弟兄都準時無阻的搭火車後步行到楊梅中山路會所，我們曾說要到火車站接他，他也拒絕，就這樣冒著風雨日曬爬坡，獨來獨往的陪伴我們一年多，直到我們聚會情形穩定了，他才停止。這段時間是楊梅召會最艱辛的日子，沒有工作上的安排打發，而劉弟兄卻是這樣在愛裡扶持幫助，使楊梅召會才能有今日的成長，這使我內心永遠懷念他，也受他的激勵。
