一位有傳福音恩賜的長者
主恢復在臺灣復興第二波時期
在一次美國南加州華語負責弟兄交通愛筵中，李常受弟兄問我在何時受浸的，我告訴他是一九五二年在臺灣臺東讀國中二年級時，他想了一下就說那是主的恢復在臺灣復興的第二波時期。在六十三年後的今天，我回憶蒙恩時的情景，依然使我滿了感戴。
兼掛臺東各召會
當時，臺東召會剛開始有主的桌子，聖徒並不多，會所是一家日式住宅改造的，兩間房間打通，排上長板凳，約可容二十餘人聚會。負責弟兄是前鹿港召會長老陳淳及臺中召會負責弟兄陳濤的尊翁，陳鶴齡老伯，他是我先父的朋友。當有信徒造就、福音傳揚特會之時，他就請在花蓮召會服事的劉湛庠弟兄來配搭加強。劉弟兄兼掛臺東各召會。
福音信息滿帶聖靈權柄
我和陳淳弟兄是從小學到高中的同班同學，他邀我一起去參加劉弟兄的福音聚會。我記得聚會中唱的福音詩歌是六八六首：『今有一泉，血流盈滿，湧自耶穌肋邊；…』唱着唱着，詩歌中主的大愛深深摸着了我，加上劉弟兄聲音宏亮，釋放主救贖大能的福音信息時，帶着聖靈的權柄。所以，當晚，主征服了我，我就悔改相信了這位為我流血捨命的救主。
感謝主！藉着祂身體中有恩賜的肢體，使祂的身體得着擴增，榮耀歸於主！
