我的父親
我們的父親於主後一九一一年（民國前一年）生於中國北京。我們的爺爺因為西教士作文字工作，相信了主耶穌，成為第一代基督徒。所以父親中、小學都在西教士辦的學校讀書，父親從那裏聽見聖經的話和主的名。後來父親報考軍校，成為軍人。抗戰勝利，他在北京主持受降典禮，是他在地上事業最光輝的時候。以後政局變化，父親與母親（駱春娟）帶着二哥到臺灣來，母親留下大姊、大哥及一個很小的弟弟在浙江的娘家。
此後，父親被人以匪諜罪名誣告而進監。他當時思考：『誰能救我。』第三天他想起了主，就開始禱告。內心因此平靜下來。他在獄中多多禱告和讀聖經。一段時間後，父親冤屈得伸清白出獄。後來一位基督徒邀請他到現在的臺北召會第一會所聚會，第二個主日聽到李常受弟兄傳講信息，這些話都說到父親的心裏，並解開了他對聖經的許多疑問。從此，父親就活在召會生活中。
父親信主以來一直熱切愛慕主的話，並認真的讀主的話。此後主帶他到淡江大學教書，他就邀請鄰居來聚會、唱詩，並對學生弟兄姊妹有負擔，同他們聚會，打開家讓他們來使用，並向他們教導主的話。從此就開始了主對他的託付，忠心的服事學生弟兄姊妹和淡水召會，共約五十年。
父親後來因耳疾嚴重，從學校退休，搬到會所住，但對學生及召會的服事反而更為增加，全人、全心的服事主。以後因為購買弟兄姊妹之家的需要，他將退休金全部奉獻，從此過一個在財物上憑信心仰望主的生活。
我們家人都知道，父親不僅是我們的，也屬於所有他所牧養教導過的弟兄姊妹們的。如今他被主接去，我們捨不得他，弟兄姊妹也捨不得他。他愛我們，我們也愛他。
父親經歷了聖經上所說，似乎是貧窮，卻叫許多人富足，似乎一無所有，卻擁有萬有。他也真經歷了主所說，人為主和福音，撇下房屋，或是弟兄、姊妹、兒女、田地，沒有不在今世得百倍，且要在來世得永遠的生命。父親在主裏當跑的賽程已經跑盡了，當守的信仰已經守住了，他正與所有已睡的聖徒，一同等候主來，要穿上榮耀的身體與主同在，直到永永遠遠。阿們。
