主喜欢听我们为灵魂得救祷告

一位和蔼可亲的长辈

刘老弟兄是一位十分和蔼可亲的长辈，第一次见到刘老弟兄，是在高一某个周六的下午，是我受浸的那天，也是我到花莲会所的第一天。见到刘老弟兄时，他正在忙召会一些事务性的事，等受浸谈话时才知道是刘老弟兄，通过了受浸谈话后，刘老弟兄帮我们施浸，那是惟一的一次见到刘老弟兄。虽然和刘老弟兄只见了那惟一的一面，但是刘老弟兄在受浸后的聚会中给我们新受浸的两位年轻人的一些勉励的话，有的到现在仍使我受鼓励、得帮助。

勉励我们特别要为家人得救祷告

刘老弟兄勉励我们：要每天读圣经，要聚会…。要祷告，要为人的得救祷告，特别要为家人的得救祷告，主喜欢听我们为灵魂的得救祷告。别的不敢打保票，但是这个祷告，主一定听，主迟早会成就我们所祷告的。这句话使我印象深刻，对我影响深远。

四十年持续祷告，先父终于得救

因为父母和弟妹们都没信主，于是我开始为他们祷告。几年后，家人陆续的得救。然而先父一直很刚硬不愿接受主，一开始我因灰心失望，无力再持续祷告的时候，想到刘老弟兄说的：『主喜欢听我们为灵魂的得救祷告，…这个祷告，主一定听。』这句话加强我对主的信，经过四十年持续的祷告，先父终于得救了。

很感谢刘老弟兄在生命上对我们的服事，刘老弟兄的话，不只使我为灵魂的得救祷告能坚定持续，也能坚定持续为冷淡的、退后的、久不聚会的圣徒祷告。

感谢主！求主祝福刘老弟兄的后代，保守他们一生一世都活在召会生活里，并在神的家中事奉祂直到永远。

附注：因为主主宰的安排调度，三十多年后，刘老弟兄的外孙李绍约弟兄(John Lii)，和我的大女儿李一凡姊妹(Yifan Lee )，在UCSD读大学时，因都过召会生活而相遇，最后结为婚配。当双方家长为儿女的婚事，第一次见面时，方才知道在花莲召会的这段过往。

追念那像乳养之母和劝勉之父般
服事我们的刘伯伯

多年爱护栽培，带领成全

六〇年代末，刘湛庠弟兄再次来到花东服事。那时我家住凤林，读花莲女中，是住校生，每主日清晨穿越校园，经过花岗山，前往明礼路会所。那天清晨六时半走进学生聚会中，刘伯伯正站在前面领唱诗歌，那是我初次遇见他。从那日起，多年受其爱护、栽培、带领、成全，真是主无尽的怜悯。

圣经读了十遍，主就不能不用你

刘伯伯为主说话简洁有力，如同活水江河流自宝座；我们在聚会中彷佛坐在主的脚前听主说话。在一次青年特会中他说，『全本圣经有一千一百八十九章，若是每天读旧约三章，新约一章，一年可以读经一遍。若是一年读经一遍，十年就可以读经十遍。若是圣经读了十遍，主就不能不用你。』他的最后一句话抓住了我。小时候读早期书房出版的达秘、司布真、斐尼、伊凡…小传，敬羡他们能被主用。如今刘伯伯对我们说：『圣经读了十遍，主就不能不用你。』我在主前认真思考，次日开始实行每天读经四章。十个月后读完一遍，我告诉刘伯伯，他满面笑容说『再读』。这成了我毕生的实行，也是我从主领受的最大福分。

午休时间实行祷读小组

刘伯伯告诉我们他的两个儿子晨曦、黎曦弟兄在台中一中，午休时间祷读小组的实行。我们听了甚受激励，也在花女照样实行。每天午餐后，十余位姊妹带着袖珍本圣经，由各教室步向校园一隅，祷读享受主的话。当时还是福音朋友的杨嘉丽，随班上同学袁桂芬姊妹前来，不久成了姊妹，后来她带了另一位同学陈淑兰得救，最后嘉丽姊妹全家都得救了。多年后在美国，她的女儿与明曦姊妹的儿子成为婚配。长住美国的桂芬姊妹，曾偕同母亲与儿子重访花莲，特别到花女校园，告诉儿子：『这是当年妈妈和姊妹祷读的地方。』

听刘伯伯讲主的话，觉得特别有滋味。他曾题起约翰二章十二节：『这事以后，耶稣与祂的母亲、兄弟和门徒，都下迦百农去，在那里住了不多几日。』他想这么平常的话，怎会记在圣经里？继而又想：虽是平常的日子，因着有主的同在，就成为可记念的。再如约翰二十一章二十五节：『耶稣所行的，还有许多别的事，若是一一都写出来，我想所写的书，就是世界也容不下了。』他想怎会世界也容不下呢？接着他得着答案：这是因为主是无限的。和他谈起学校教官向我们倡导入党事，他说主的门徒中有个『奋锐党』的西门，（太十4，和合本，）但没有说要不要入党，留下余地让我寻求主。

乃是要在他身上显明神的作为

他送我们每人一张卡片，上面印着：『春花再开，草原新绿，已经不是当年枝叶，眼前片刻，虽然短暂，却当珍惜。』他请当时看会所、擅长书法的萧弟兄加上：『「现在」是神的时间。(林后六2。)』显然他的用意是劝我们：爱主就是现在。他鼓励我们在聚会中为主说话，不要『存心不说』。在他带领之下，全召会进入奉献的水流，那是在张湘泽弟兄夫妇从台中来花莲举行特会之后，也是我第一次接受按手，将自己奉献给主。后来在花莲和台东又有一次按手祷告，刘伯伯说，有病的和应届毕业生，要接受按手祷告，即使疾病未愈，那祷告却会叫人得供应。那天轮到我的时候，刘伯伯祷告说，『这不是因着罪，乃是要在他身上显明神的作为。』自此约翰九章三节带给我源源不绝的供应。

早年东部交通不便，在众同工中，刘伯伯经历的舟车劳顿最多。他曾带我们一行人经横贯公路，蹿山越岭去台中参加青年特会，也领我们由惊险万状的苏花公路去台北参加全台特会，拓展我们属灵的视野和胸襟。那次我们搭金马号赴台中，刘伯伯知道我曾晕车，安排我坐在他旁以便照料。车在崇山峻岭间盘旋时，只听见邻座的刘伯伯在与主交通，他低声轻唱：『求主带我上到高山，给我只见你自己…。』（诗歌二百八十五首。）

主道踽踽独行，无畏寒风酷暑
忠诚跟随拿撒勒人耶稣脚踪

刘伯伯服事的足迹遍及全花东，处处都有他信心的工作，爱心的劳苦，盼望的忍耐。他一周住花莲，一周住台东，其间还要到凤林、光复、玉里等乡镇看望圣徒，带领聚会。例如，周三下午，他从花莲搭柴油火车到凤林，下车后到一位郑姊妹家借脚踏车，从镇上骑约二、三公里的石子路，到凤林荣民医院附近的会所，与一班荣民弟兄相聚，接着回到镇上的会所，（他说是全台最小的会所，）与另一班弟兄姊妹聚集。他在会中领诗歌、带读经、讲信息…会后搭晚班火车，返回花莲已是夜深时刻。主道踽踽独行，无畏寒风酷暑，忠诚跟随拿撒勒人耶稣的脚踪。

七〇年代我去台中读大学，寒暑假回到花莲，几次被接待在会所，刘妈妈亲自下厨，同他们进餐就像同主坐席，温馨画面常在我心。有一天刘伯伯请我在福音聚会中作见证，虽然过程中恐惧战兢，但那是他对我很好的成全。一次开学在即，刘伯伯去凤林聚会，特地先绕到我家巷子，说要替我买往台中的车票，免我多一次奔波。先前家父因公务繁忙，四十六岁中风后，家母北上工作扛起家计。刘伯伯对我们家的关切和照顾，我们感铭在心。

保持书信往返，他一笔一画写来不易
我一字一句不忍放过

在台中某天听见刘伯伯也中风的消息，悬念中提笔问候，不久接到他初练左手写的覆函，字里行间流露着患难中所生的忍耐，病痛中溢出的恩言。后来为着方便就医的缘故，刘伯伯家从花莲迁往台北石牌第十四会所附近。其后数年，我们思念多，相聚却少。

我毕业重返凤林母校任教约五年后，一日接到刘伯伯寄到学校给我的信，依然是左手书写的字迹，读其言如见其人。我回信告诉他：『我们彷佛离别十分久远，又好像从来不曾分离，心里有一种记念人也被人记念的喜悦。』不多几日，我去花莲参加特会，在那里又接到刘伯伯的信说：『上次的书信交通，内心非常喜乐，这种喜乐是少有的，心里就想，为什么在已过八年没有这样的交通呢？』此后好些年，我们保持书信往返，他一笔一画写来不易，我一字一句不忍放过，那成叠的信件无疑是从主来的特殊恩典，其中有劝勉、鼓励、安慰、教导…。

一次感冒迟覆，他知道后写着：『主所爱的人病了。』（约十一3。）另一次我搭火车到几个乡镇以外去探视他住院的小儿，他潸然泪下，写道：『神既然喜悦这些眼泪，为什么又要擦去呢？』又说，『这些事你们既作在我这些弟兄中最小的一个身上，就是作在我身上。』（太二五40。）那些年和晨曦、衍勤夫妇在书房文字工作上配搭，他在这面有诸多的鼓励、扶持和期许。若时间较赶，有一位在荣总任工程师、可敬的林华英弟兄会替他代笔写信。也有几次我到他在石牌的家中听他交通。黎曦弟兄结婚之日他禁食，和我有语重心长的谈话。

待每一个人好像父亲待自己的孩子一样

家父疑似二次中风时，住进凤林荣院，头部时而剧痛难忍，申请转台北荣总不成，家人甚是忧心。我在给刘伯伯的信中提起这事。未料他与荣总医师王玉浔弟兄交通，王弟兄与我们并不相识，却嘱咐我们直接去找他，加上林华英弟兄的协助，家父顺利住进荣总，解决了最难挨的头痛问题。那一天，刘妈妈推着坐轮椅的刘伯伯到病房探望家父，让家父和我们分外感动。出院后，家父特别写信给刘伯伯，为这一切的服事深致谢意。我稍早寄给他用毛笔写的小卡：『爱是永不止息。』

大妹聚会少，刘伯伯仍关心她。早先他在各地作工时，一日在路边小店用餐，读到报上『慈母心』一文，描写的正是为家人外出工作，辛苦劳碌的家母。刘伯伯后来拿给我看，原来是舍妹投稿的文章。刘伯伯到石牌后也给她写信，说一次的好印象成了一生的好印象，说她是匹睡马，并以圣经相赠。舍妹回信说，『我虽然是匹睡马，一旦醒来，却是要逾越千里的。』刘伯伯关切舍妹会不会在意他左手字写得不好。但那里会呢？家父中风后也用左手写信。无论接到他们二人中谁的信，我们除了摸着为父的心肠，更感到无比的亲切。他在给我的信中说过：『你真是一个蒙怜悯的孩子。』在主里他之于我们亦父亦母，就像帖前二章七节和十一节所说，『只在你们中间为人温和，如同乳母顾惜自己的孩子。…正如你们所知道的，我们怎样劝勉你们，抚慰你们，向你们作见证，待你们每一个人，好像父亲待自己的孩子一样。』

主的一代忠仆，只知倾酒，不知饮酒；
只想擘饼，不想留饼

那个暑假刘伯伯罹胃癌住院，衍勤姊妹骑机车载我同去医院探视。我见到病榻上的刘伯伯似乎是软弱的，但回首过往岁月，我仍然清楚记得：他抱着那本读过无数遍的圣经赴会的庄严神情，他供应话语时字字是灵，句句是生命的刚强模样，以及他深入穷乡僻壤服事弟兄姊妹的劳苦身影。家母说他爱主深，受苦也深。但我见过他提说晨曦弟兄小学三年级在学期中十天读完新约一遍、黎曦弟兄高中时在特会中将自己奉献给主、明曦姊妹的孩子幼年擅于说故事时，那欣慰的笑容。若有人问我刘伯伯是怎样的人？我要见证他是主的一代忠仆，是只知倾酒，不知饮酒；只想擘饼，不想留饼的人。半个世纪将尽，纵然许多人和事渐行渐远，自己也已年过花甲，但我对刘伯伯的怀念历久弥新，而每逢想念他，总不免想起诗歌三百四十九首：

一　众人涌进主的国度，十架少人负；

众人争夺主的赏赐，世界有谁辞？

人虽无心走主道路，仍想主祝福！

二　众人都慕得主荣耀，羞辱少人要；

众人都爱同主掌权，损失有谁愿？

几乎无人因主缘故，看万事如土！

三　多人都贪享主甘旨，少有愿禁食！

多人都喜登主宝座，少有愿飘泊！

同祂唱诗虽然有人，儆醒却不能。

四　众人都想同主高贵，卑贱却都畏。

当主凡事为他豫备，他就大赞美；

当主稍微求他一点，就立发怨言。

五　但那诚实爱主的人，祸福都不问；

就是他们宝贵心血，也愿为主舍。

求主给我这样心志，赤忠忘生死。

身体中风

感谢神，借着诸位兄姊在主内多方长期代祷，使弟得主眷顾，蒙保守到现在。

自九月初又患毒疮蜂窝炎，加上中风，身体很受亏损。经过数十天痛苦，体重减到一百零八磅。现在痛苦虽已过去，可是伤口仍有银元般大，尚未收口。也许再经半月可得痊愈。

前后两个月的毒疮炎，使原有的中风病拖久。据医师说，若没有蜂窝炎，到现在中风可能完全痊愈。现在仍照医师指示，锻炼身体及电疗。上、下午各一次，每次约两小时半，全天约五小时以上。近来身体稍有进步，前天起能离杖步行半小时。昨天出门步行四十分钟（用手杖），到理发厅去理发。若主赐恩，今年底或能知道痊愈的日期。求主怜悯！

弟因右身中风，六个月来未曾与人通信。其中虽有内人代笔，也是有限，该通的信都未写。张大卫弟兄用左手给我写的信，使弟甚受激励，所以现在也操练用左手写信。此信为用左手写的第二封信。

非我惟主，被人高举并爱敬

记忆中，那是一九六七年的暑假，我正读台中一中高一。那时我们家住彰化，每天早晨父亲都会带我到家附近的八卦山爬山，到一处有两块石头，又较隐秘的地方坐下晨兴，向主祷告。几乎每次唱诗歌，父亲都唱到泪流满面。我起先也不太了解，只是跟着唱，跟着祷。直到如今我仍清楚记得，那几首诗歌是我那时所唱。对我来说，那也就是属灵的启蒙。父亲带我认识基督和珍赏基督，不是在于别的，乃是在于 『不再是我，乃是基督』。

与主有亲密甜美的交通

父亲在晨兴中用诗歌对我的启蒙主要分三个阶段。在第一阶段里，父亲带我经历主，与主有亲密甜美的交通。正如诗歌二百七十五首二至四节所说：『亲爱主！宝贝主！我听见你招呼；你的声音入我心内，我就脱离所有缠累，骄傲都归虚无，追求都变庸俗。亲爱主！宝贝主！我怎能再顽固？我将刚硬投你脚旁，领首诗歌回家去唱，欢喜作你奴仆，欢喜向你屈服。亲爱主！宝贝主！我拣选你道路；一面顺服，一面流泪，但我不肯改变地位，我要讨你喜悦，羡慕爱的暴虐。』在与主的交通中，我经历了内里生命的改变。我向着主不再顽固，不再刚硬，乃是欢喜屈服，讨主喜悦。另一首是诗歌三百零六首，让我摸着的是：『祂为我死，我才能死，脱离罪、己、俗世。…祂为我活，我才能活，像祂那样「无我」。』在诗歌的享受中，我认识了父亲所认识的基督，这一位使父亲能经历『死』，经历『无我』。这诗歌也说出父亲的一生：『不再是我，乃是基督』。

对基督有更多认识和珍赏

第二阶段里，父亲带我对基督有更多认识和珍赏，而尊大基督。我很摸着三首诗歌，其一是诗歌二百八十九首，前两节说：『愿你为大，哦主耶稣！ 信条、话语、虚仪、属人的会、属世的爱，不能与你相比。愿你为大，哦主耶稣！你爱征服了我；靠你十架我向己死，完全为你而活。』其二是四百三十三首：『非我惟主，被人高举并爱敬；非我惟主，被人传扬相信；非我惟主，显在言语和步武；非我惟主，显在思想态度。哦，求主救我脱离自己！失去在你里面！哦，但愿不再是自己，惟主活我里面！非我惟主，故无一可以自傲；非我惟主，故无一可自暴；非我惟主，因此不再有重担；非我惟主，因此不怕危难。主，惟有主，不久充满我眼睛，荣耀无比，不久就要显明；主，惟有主，要永受我的感谢，耶稣基督，要永是我一切。』此段诗歌中，我要强调『非我』与『惟主』，所写正如倪弟兄所著《正常的基督徒生活》一书封面上的两句话: 『不再是我，乃是基督』。父亲一生给我的感觉无他，只是干净，纯洁。其三是三百九十四首副歌：『永远举起耶稣，赞美主不歇；一切在于基督，主是我一切。』

盼望主再临的灵

第三阶段，父亲把我带进盼望主再临的灵里。父亲最常说的两句话，其一即上文所说『非我惟主』，其二是『主阿，我愿你来！』亦即诗歌七百五十六首第二节：『我今仰望我主「同在」，不敢懈怠一点；我今等候我主再来，使我得着所天。除了我主此刻就来，接我与祂同在，除了这件美事以外，我心别无所爱。』这里的『同在』，是指启示录里主隐秘的来临（巴路西亚），隐秘的同在，借这段诗歌说出父亲不仅是盼望主来，而且他活着就是在享受主的再来。第六节：『千人的手不能阻我，万人的眼也不；路上荆棘，不过助我忠勇进前得福。我心！我灵！今当复兴，让这世界过去；生命的主！求你快临，接我进入天域。』哦，这是何等豪迈的宣告，何等有福的盼望！接着诗歌七百五十七首也说：『我今能否忘了儆醒？否，否，我心早晚深省！惟恐错过被提机会，容让世事使我聋瞶。我能否与世界结联？否，否，祂召我往上面！愿我舍弃属地事物，爱祂，念祂，我的救主。』在唱诗中，借着问『能否』，并回答『否，否，惟恐错过被提机会，容让世事使我聋瞶』，让我很清楚，父亲一直活在与主亲密的关系里，儆醒预备自己，等候主来。

感谢主，这就是父亲对我属灵的启蒙，使我能一生爱主，服事主。非我惟主，被人高举并爱敬；非我惟主，被人传扬相信！

各地服事踪迹

我是鹿港陈陈平茵姊妹，能为主里刘湛庠弟兄在台东、彰化、鹿港各地服事的踪迹作见证，实感荣幸，现在分别叙述如下:

在台东

主后一九五二年五月刘弟兄到台东传福音，当年我的弟兄陈淳弟兄才十八岁，使他真正摸到主，并感觉到宇宙有一位神的，就是那次参加了刘弟兄讲的福音聚会，我相信在场的许多同班同学都会有这样的感觉。那次福音聚会，陈淳弟兄受浸了，后来又带一些同学受浸，感谢主！阿利路亚，赞美主。

在彰化

主后一九六五年至六八年，刘湛庠弟兄全家到彰化服事，建立全家事奉，及青少年、儿童工作。当初刘弟兄一家六口到彰化，生活相当艰苦，但他忠心劳苦，殷勤看望。他带领全召会最大的负担，是把圣徒一家一家的成全起来事奉主。『至于我和我家，我们必定事奉耶和华。』是刘弟兄经常挂在口中勉励圣徒的话。他的脚踪遍及每一个弟兄姊妹的家。弟兄姊妹一家一家的兴起，纷纷把家打开，开始福音及餧养性质的家庭聚会。许多家被带进教会的事奉中，因此人数渐增。因着『家』的照顾，圣徒家中的儿童和青少年，被成全的需要也渐殷切。

首先，从刘弟兄自己的家，及郭祥灿弟兄家的子女作起，这两个家共有青少年十余位。于每周六晚，开始有青少年聚会。蒙主祝福，人数渐增，经常到会者有五、六十位。这一阶段是彰化青少年服事最强盛的阶段。

刘师母灵里安静如马里亚，但她对儿童工作却满有负担，姊妹们也很有默契喜爱服事儿童。每个主日下午三点，刘师母呼召儿童来聚会，姊妹们也接受负担，把家中和邻居的小孩，带到会所。较远地区的姊妹，则雇用出租车接送小孩。大家同心合意，费财费力。到会的儿童经常达六、七十人，这些小孩长大后，留在各地召会尽功用的不少。

刘弟兄积极成全圣徒，殷勤看望，甚至附近乡镇像鹿港、苗栗等地区圣徒的家，都有他的足迹。刘弟兄也多次接受台中张湘泽弟兄托付，到苗栗帮助那边的召会。至于刘师母，她爱心十足，若弟兄姊妹家有事, 她都是第一个到。她爱心和服事的灵，实令人感动。他们在彰化服事了三年，激励了许多弟兄姊妹，留下了美好的榜样。

在鹿港

刘湛庠弟兄在彰化服事的三年间，也曾到鹿港看望我们一家。刘弟兄火热的灵，锲而不舍的爱，在信心里的劳苦，实在成全我们。陈弟兄在当年是一个软弱的弟兄，彰化的祷告聚会他没去(当年还没有成立鹿港召会)，只有我一个人去。祷告聚会一开始，弟兄会选一些圣经节挑旺我们的灵，使我们有发旺高昂的灵，来在一起祷告，更刚强，更有力，更在灵里合而为一。祷告带下圣灵的能力和神的垂听，使神的经纶更往前。最使我享用不尽的圣经节是利未记六章十二节：『坛上的火要在其上一直烧着，不可熄灭。』罗马书十二章十一节：『殷勤不可懒惰，要灵里火热，常常服事主。』这两处经节是当年刘弟兄带着我们背诵的话。今天已成为我服事主的动力。当我软弱退后时，这些话就在脑中浮现，使我立即转回灵里，常常服事主。刘弟兄也曾从彰化骑脚踏车到鹿港来看望我们一家，当时孩子小，我又要上班，刘弟兄看我实在疲惫，就替我们找主内退伍的军人弟兄，白天帮我们看小孩，使我们能安心上班，有体力聚会。感谢主，他无微不至的爱心，和满是汗水的脸，使我到永远都不会忘记。

经过刘弟兄三年劳苦经营我们的家，当我们离开彰化时，陈淳弟兄已恢复正常聚会和事奉，渐渐的有鹿港召会和福兴召会的成立，使神有家可居住，神人同得满足。我们今天能爱主，事奉主，实在是因刘弟兄所栽种劳苦的结果，今天从神这边来收割。赞美主！何等荣耀！愿荣耀归神，直到永远。

他实在是主福音的使者

以下是我父亲回忆刘弟兄在新竹区服事的片段：

『刘弟兄在新竹区服事，主要服事头份（含竹南）的召会，其家住在仁爱会所。他为人谦卑、低调、不显扬，作工认真、默默的，正如主在地上的榜样一样，并且苦干、实干、毫无怨尤。

他对福音的传扬非常有负担。那个时期，交通不便，他去郊区服事都是坐慢车，很费时，但他负担从来不减，常去传扬福音。即或调到宜兰召会，也常穿着福音背心，准备好福音单张，带着孩子一同去郊区传福音，并且随走随传。他实在是主福音的使者！』

忠信爱主殷勤探望

我们一家有五位（奶奶、父母、姐姐和我）是刘湛庠弟兄在冈山召会牧养众圣徒时受浸得救的，那已经是五十多年前的往事了。在记忆中有两件关于刘弟兄的事叫我难以忘怀，兹叙述于下：

一辆旧单车，家家去看望

第一件事就是刘弟兄非常关心召会中的众弟兄姊妹的情形。在我的印象中，他经常骑着一辆旧单车不辞辛劳的到弟兄姊妹的家中去探望，关心弟兄姊妹的生活情况，和他们交通并祷告。这使被看望的弟兄姊妹很受感动，并不断的从主接受到恩典。我们的家就是常被他看望的一家，因着他爱心的看望，使得家母和我能忠心爱主一直到今天。

陪家母带舍弟去屏东看病

第二件事就是刘弟兄陪着家母带我弟弟去屏东看病的事。我的大弟小时候得了一种类似小儿麻痹症的病，刚开始还能走路，后来就渐渐不能走了。那时父母带他到各处去看病，也不见好转。后来听说在屏东有一位密医会治疗各种疑难杂症，家母就愿意带我的大弟去找这位先生看病，当时家父因为有公务在身，无法抽空前往。刘弟兄知道了这件事，就愿意陪同家母带我弟弟去屏东看病。当年在台湾交通不甚方便，从冈山去屏东，需要到高雄再换车，到了屏东还必须走一段路，才能到那位密医看病的地方。在这旅途中上车下车，我的大弟都需要人背，下车走路的时候也需要人背，去看一次病要花许多时间并且满辛苦的。那天刘弟兄陪着家母带我弟弟去屏东看病，好不容易到了地方却还要等；可是等到要看病了，却说不给看，因为当他知道家母是信主的基督徒，就不愿为我弟弟看病，因为那位密医是靠着邪灵治病的，结果是白跑了一趟。家母对这件事的印象非常深刻，虽然事隔多年，仍然记得从刘弟兄的身上流露出来主耶稣基督的爱，使她非常感动。

刘弟兄一生忠心爱主事奉主，作了我们美好的榜样。愿我们今天也能跟随弟兄的脚踪，忠心爱主，并且常常去探望弟兄姊妹，在主里牧养主的群羊，一同作主的见证人，建造主的身体。

证明主的眷怜

上月十六日下午到了宜兰，二十四日下午离开。在留宜兰八天中，有五次讲道并四次福音。人数虽少，甚感有主的同在。那里会所自去年大台风吹坏后，海内外各地教会为修建宜兰会所多有奉献。经修建后，无论在坚固方面、式样方面，都较前好得多。弟到了宜兰，一见到这样的会所，心里十分喜乐。（宜兰会所若不遭台风损害，亦不可能再维持一年以上，因为当初建造太简单，且是木造，时间已在十年以上。）这实在证明主怜悯眷顾这个地方少数的弟兄姊妹们。现圣徒人数虽不多，但主的见证在这个地方上仍得着维持而继续。

二十四日（主日）下午离宜兰经花莲，被子模兄长留住，当晚至二十七日晚有四次聚会，聚会空气尚佳，然后转台东返回冈山。

喜乐的灵运行

弟因主的带领及兄长们的安排来冈山，感谢主，因祂的怜悯，在已往三个月内，主的话语相当明亮，确是此间圣徒应时的需要。近来各种聚会情形有见好转，主日聚会已过一百人，喜乐的灵在聚会中时有运行。弟兄姊妹们教育水平相当高，对主的话极易接受。从现在起，若能跟得上主的带领，主的见证在这里要被显明。

年初传了一次福音，教会和朋友们反应都很好。有二十五位弟兄姊妹们受浸归主，受浸后向主很正常。弟目前工作也相当忙，上午常有些兄姊来会所交通，晚间除一天外，每天都有聚会。下午有时带着内子看望弟兄姊妹，常有主的同在。

主在这里的姊妹们中间有新的起头，若有一位作工的姊妹来带领几天聚会，供应一定不小。
