Receiving the New Commission with Fear
I arrived at the meeting hall in Yuanlin at 2 p.m. on 10th. At that time some veteran brothers had determined to go to Hsinchu on 13th, so immediately I followed brother Zhu to visit the brothers and sisters in Xizhou, Tianzhong, Shetou, etc. Through the fellowship during these couple of days, I have gotten to know the brothers and sisters in this area briefly.
Some veteran brothers had served here in past three years, has truly given considerable supply to the church here, and also has truly functioned as a member of the Body. Although I have exercised myself on service for more than ten years in the past, I was full of fear in my heart when facing the new commission of the Lord, because the cross becomes heavier. In this corner of service, I am learning to subject myself under the authority of the Head and coordinate with brothers and sisters according to the pattern on the mountain before His presence that we would all function as members for the building up of His church on earth.
At present I have a desire before the Lord. I hope that after half a year I can fluently use the local language to convey the Lord’s intention to the brothers and sisters and friends who cannot understand the National Language so as to function as a member. I hope that you could often pray for me.
